First university in the world

2,700 years ago, there was a huge university in ancient India, with over 10,500 students from all over the world studying there. It was the University of Taxila (now known as Taxila) in ancient India. The world’s first university was founded in 700 BC in Taxila or Taxila or Taxila (now in Pakistan).
